About Us

Who Are Good Luck?

At Good Luck, we platform young voices and make classical stories more accessible to a range of audiences through adaption and physical theatre.

...Through Adaption and Physical Theatre

We believe the best way to achieve this accessibility is through modern adaptions, placing a text in a different setting or telling the story from a different perspective. In creating new adaptions we intend to use physical theatre as primary medium to enforce the childish elements of play.

...And Making Classical Stories Accessible...

We share an interest in classical texts- from Sophocles to Chaucer to Shakespeare and we see the stigma around these as complicated texts that are just to be studied. We aim to oppose this stigma by creating fun, alternative, performances to target non regular theatre going audiences.
